Testing testing…
The iPhone takes photos at 1600×1200, but you can only email 640×480. That’s kind of disappointing.
New Camera
On Friday I picked up a new camera at Best Buy, a Canon SD750. It’s a nice little ultra-portable 7.1megapixel with a huge lcd (3 inches.) Diane “inherits” the old SD400. While I do want a DSLR at some point, you really can’t beat these little Canons. A huge camera may take great pictures, but if you don’t have it with you, what use is it? The max res is 3072×2304, which is pretty amazing.
I used it today for the “24 hours of Flickr” project. Basically you take photos on May 5th, and pick the best one to upload. It was a fun excuse to get out there and take some shots. Out of the group I took, I chose this one up above of the horses at a nearby farm.
I also picked up a 2 Gig SD card for $25. TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS. How great is that?
Noise Ninja
I’ve started using a nifty little photo filtering tool called “Noise Ninja” by PictureCode. When calibrated correctly, the results it can produce are amazing.
Available in standalone and plug-in versions for both the Mac and PC.

Photos from the Lost Set
I dunno what the story behind this is…looks like they just stumbled across it while vacationing. I do love the expression on the face of the guy in the white shirt, all looking like he just scored a can of Dharma Beans.
Hilarious.
The entire set can be found here.
Luckless
Tom Stone photographs the homeless of San Francisco, and shares the results on Flickr. His work is enlightening, touching, and at times, horrifying.
