Iron Mines

IronMiners.com is a very cool website that I ran across over at Metafilter. The site investigates old abandoned Iron Mines.

The presentation is very nice…and I absolutely love the pictures. I’m a bit disappointed, however, that they don’t have any information on the mine that my grandfather worked in up in Lyon Mountain, NY.

Maybe someday.
