Jinx averted?

Frank Gramarossa, project executive for the new Yankee stadium, removes a Boston Red Sox jersey with the name of player David Ortiz from the ground at the new Yankee stadium.

The Yankees have ended a construction worker’s attempt to jinx their new stadium with a buried Red Sox jersey.

The jersey was buried under 2 feet of concrete in a service corridor of the stadium.

This is great… As a Mets fan I can only say: “Looks like they missed a bit…”
